The Last Nakshathira in the list of 27 Birth Nakshathira is the <strong>Revathi Nakshathira<\/strong>. The temple that is dedicated to the Revathi Nakshathira is<strong> Sri Kailasanathar Temple<\/strong> located at <strong>Karukudi<\/strong> in Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu.\u00a0The main god of this temple is <strong>Lord<\/strong> <strong>Shiva<\/strong> and the Goddess is known as <strong>Karunakara Valli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The people who are born on Revathi Nakshathira are friendly, courageous and honest in nature. Yet they think highly of themselves and fond of luxury. But they might face difficulties in finding a suitable alliance for them and have other problems related to matrimony. It is strongly believed that they will get rid of all these problems by offering their sincere prayers to Lord Shiva in this temple.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gosthala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/featured-1-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2529 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/gosthala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/featured-1-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gosthala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/featured-1-2.jpg 700w, https:\/\/gosthala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/featured-1-2-300x150.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Karunakaravalli Sametha Sri Kailasanathar Temple<\/strong> is an old Shiva Temple that is located in a place called Karukudi, in Musiri Taluk, Tiruchirapalli Dist. \u00a0Lord Shiva graces His devotees as a <strong>Suyambu Moorthy<\/strong>. It is believed that this temple was rebuilt by a chieftain named Valvil Ori who was ruling Kollimalai.<\/p>\n<p>As per the Sthala Purana, the <strong>planet Moon<\/strong> married the deity of the last <strong>star Revathi<\/strong>. As a newly wedded couple, they wanted to have the divine darshan of Lord Shiva and the Goddess Parvathi.\u00a0\u00a0The Mother was so merciful and She granted darshan to them with Lord Shiva.\u00a0Hence the Goddess is known as Karunakaravalli (Merciful Goddess).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gosthala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/G_T5_1398.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2530 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/gosthala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/G_T5_1398.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a>Though Lord Shiva and Goddess Karunakaravalli had granted their Darshan to all the 27-star deities in this temple, the Star Revathi continued to worship here imagining the great mercy of the Divine Parents. Hence this temple is closely related to the Revathi Nakshathira. People who are born on Revathi Nakshathira are advised to visit this temple as often as they could and offer their prayers by offering<strong> 27 different objects<\/strong> like 27 Mangal Sutras,\u00a027 blouse bits or 27 food packets. After their worship, they have to distribute them to the devotees visiting the temple to get their wishes fulfilled.<\/p>\n<p>As per another mythology, <strong>Kar<\/strong> means rainy <strong>clouds<\/strong> in Tamil. It is said that some <strong>7 rainy clouds<\/strong> worship in this temple on the day of Revathi Nakshathira. This is the reason why this place is called <strong>Karukudi<\/strong> (Karu \u2013 cloud). So it is believed that any special pooja performed to the <strong>rain God, Varuna<\/strong> on a <strong>Sunday<\/strong> combined with <strong>Revathi<\/strong> or Thiruvathirai Nakshathira, would bring sufficient rains.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the other shrines that are seen in this temple are Lord Vinayaka, Lord Muruga, Kasi Visalakshi, Kala Bhairava, Navagrahas, Lord Dakshinamurthi, Brahmma, Vishnu and Goddess Gomu Durga.<\/p>\n<p>It is strongly believed that the people who are born on Revathi Nakshathira would get relieved from all the Doshas and the illnesses by performing <strong>milk abishekam<\/strong> to Lord <strong>during<\/strong> the <strong>last 12 minutes<\/strong> of the Revathi Nakshathira, before the start of Aswini Nakshathira.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last but not the least \u2013 It is Revathi Nakshathira !!
