There is a local belief that the devotees can get rid of Sarpa Dosha if they pray Lord Shiva at three Nagaa temples at Kumbakonam, Tirunageswaram and Thirupampuram during morning, afternoon and evening respectively.

Nageswarar Temple,Kumbakonam
The main deity Lord Shiva-Nageswarar represents the attributes of planet Raghu.
The temple was built by the celebrated Saivite Poet Sekkizhar.
Lord Shiva graces in the middle of three serpents who are Lord Satynarayana in form of a serpent, Nagendrar and Lord Naga Nadheswarar.
Those afflicted with serpent planet adverse aspects and those facing problems due to Ragu planet transition pray for relief in this temple.
Morning
Raghu Temple, Thirunageswaram
The presiding deity is revered in the 7th century Tamil Saiva canonical work, the Tevaram, written by Tamil saint poets known as the nayanars and classified as Paadal Petra Sthalam and one of the Navagraha sthalams.
In this temple, Sri Raghu is seen here in human form with His consorts Sri Naga Kanni and Sri Naga valli.
Many serpents, including Adishesha, Takshaka and Karkotaka, worshipped Shiva at this place, leading to the name “Tirunageswaram”.
At this sthala, the colour of milk changes from white to blue during Abhishekam. On 16.2.86, a snake had shed off its outer skin on Rahu Bhagavan, which is preserved and worshipped to date.
Morning
Paampuranathar Temple, Thirupampuram
The King of Serpents Nagarajan, Karkotakan, Bhrama and Agasthyar are said to have worshipped Shiva here. The name Paampuram comes from the association with Nagarajan.
This place is sung in the Thevaram hymns of Thirugnanasambandar. Thirunayana Samandhar has sung Devara hymns in praise of this lord and is considered one of the Padal Petra Sthalams.

In 2002 May 26 a snake skin was found (8.3 feet) like a Maalai in Lord Shiva shrine. Another snake skin (7.5 feet) is there in Ambal Shrine.

Pooja details in Nageswarar Temple
Milk abishek is performed to Lord at 6-30-10.00 a.m and at 5.00 p.m. Those afflicted by this dosha, participate in this ritual, also perform abishek during Raghu Kala time, offer Ulund dal and rice prepared with Ulund dal. The preparation is available in the temple itself.

Performing abhishekam with milk for Lord Sri Raghu during raghu kaala will clear all blockages for marriage, children, job due to sarpa dhosha.
Five kala poojas (5times worship) are being done everyday. Special Abhisekas are performed between 4.30 to 6 p.m. (Raaghu Kala) in all Sundays.

The price mentioned here is only for 200 kms per day and 13 hours per day.10 Rs per km will be charged extra if it exceeds 200kms and 120 Rs per hour will be charged extra if it exceeds 13 hours.

35% of package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation between 22 to 30 days before departure.
50% of package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation between 15 to 21 days before departure.
100% of package cost will be charged as penalty on cancelling, 15 days before departure.
