Sri Manjunatha Swamy Temple is a hindu religious center dedicated to Lord Shiva referred as Manjunatha. This 800 year old temple is situated in the temple town of Dharmasthala, Karnataka. Lord Shiva being the main deity, the temple also houses the shrines of Goddess Ammanavaru, the tirthankara Chandraprabha and the protective gods of Jainism, Kalarahu, Kalarkayi, Kumarasvami and Kanyakumari. The interesting facts about the temple are that it is administered by a Jain family and the priests are vaishnavites. “Anna Daana”(free food) is one of the impressive events that takes place in the temple
